Our first review for Pandora’s Box…

After so many years in the music biz, we try not to get too worked up about these things. But it’s a bit of a nail biter when you’ve worked hard on a project and are finally letting it out into the light of day. We had a blast making Pandora’s Box, and, thanks to the hard work and excellent musicianship of all involved, we also like how it turned out. But will the reviewer “get it”? Or be disappointed or snarky in some way about the result?

Well, we needn’t have bitten those nails down quite so far. Our first review, written by Barbara Mitchell in the Oregonian, get’s the story right and creates a wonderful context within which people can listen to the record.

Phew!

He’s had a thirty year career in radio and can be heard every morning (with his fabulous co-host Niki) on Kool 103.5.

Don and Niki called us up  few months ago to talk about the 80′s, our new project, “The Nu Shooz Orchestra”, and our upcoming CD release. Somehow we got on the subject of hot tubs and mistaken identity…
