After so many years in the music biz, we try not to get too worked up about these things. But it’s a bit of a nail biter when you’ve worked hard on a project and are finally letting it out into the light of day. We had a blast making Pandora’s Box, and, thanks to the hard work and excellent musicianship of all involved, we also like how it turned out. But will the reviewer “get it”? Or be disappointed or snarky in some way about the result?
Well, we needn’t have bitten those nails down quite so far. Our first review, written by Barbara Mitchell in the Oregonian, get’s the story right and creates a wonderful context within which people can listen to the record.
